Your Body, Your Choice

Whatever choices you make about your pregnancy and your birth - whether it’s an elected cesarean or a drug-free home birth - I am here to listen without judgement, to support you, and to advocate for your choices.

Trust Your Instincts

You are the expert on your body, and your baby. We will work together to hear your inner voice; to give it the attention it deserves, and to allow that voice to guide you towards meeting your baby.

Every Step of the Way

From our first meeting, I will be accompanying you on your journey. My role is to provide continuous practical, emotional, and informational support. I will always be there at the end of the phone, and offer companionship throughout labour and birth. I can also offer postnatal support as you transition into life with your new-born.

Together, we will tailor a care package to suit your interests and your needs. Services include:

  • Mother Blessings

  • Pregnancy Massage

  • Birth Preparation sessions

  • Accompaniment to your pre-natal appointments or procedures

  • Attendance for your labour and birth

  • Postnatal practical and emotional support

Whether you are pregnant with a partner or moving towards motherhood solo, our Birth Preparation sessions will be focused towards supporting you to feel prepared and confident as you move towards birth and parenthood. We will:

  • Explore Birth Preferences and choices through evidence-based research

  • Practical tips and what you might expect in labour/"stages of labour"

  • Discuss comfort measure/pain relief options for labour

  • Strategies for navigating the pos-natal period

  • Preparing for the birth of a second child

Postnatal Support

The first few months following the birth of your baby can be challenging. I can offer continued physical and emotional support, and signposting to specialist services.

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Sling wearing

  • Creating self-care strategies

  • Exploring thoughts and feelings around your birth story
